Condolence: We will truly miss Don. We will especially miss talking about our latest antique finds and cannon shoots. The cannon shoots will never be the same without him.

Condolence: It was my good and great fortune as a beginning teacher to have Don as my first department chair. Don was a great friend and mentor and a true Son of Social Studies. His energy, dedication and commitment to do the right thing have been and will be greatly missed.

Condolence: My sympathies go out to the family of a memorable and well loved educator. He taught many life lessons. Although 40 years have passed since I was his student, his lessons have remained with me. May you find peace and comfort in the knowledge that he touched many lives.

Condolence: My sincere condolences and prayers are with all of Don's family and friends. May God give you peace and strength through your loss. I knew Don only through our Muzzle Loading club and the many contributions he brought to us in that association. His passing from this life is a loss to many.

Condolence: Nancy, my prayers are that you and your family will be comforted during this time of loss. As a fellow Hubley cap pistol collector, I enjoyed learning what new pistol Don would find at an auction to add to the collection. While Don may be physically gone from us, he is with us in spirit and the memories he left behind.
